Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project has a total length of 117.5 km, of which the section through Khanh Hoa province is about 33.2 km and through Dak Lak province is about 84.3 km. The expressway has a design speed of 100 km/h, with a total investment of nearly VND 22,000 billion. The expressway is sometimes known as Nha Trang - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway due to the fact that Nha Trang is the capital city of Khanh Hoa province
