The commune of Binh Phuoc Xuan (Cho Moi district, An Giang province) is the location where the Saemaul Globalization Fund (SGF, South Korea) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD, Vietnam) cooperated to pilot the new Saemaul Undong village model.
Today, April 7, 2021, the village office of Saemaul Binh Phuoc Xuan cooperative was inaugurated and officially put into operation.
This work is part of one of the four components of the Saemaul project — improving environmental conditions, which goes hand in hand with Vietnam’s New Rural program.
