Vietnam, Laos agree to build bilateral cooperation strategy

Vietnam and Laos have agreed to continue building a strategy on cooperation in economics, culture, education, industry, agriculture and forestry focusing on human resource development. According to the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), the agreement was reached between Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung and his Lao counterpart Somsavat Lengsavad at their meeting in Hanoi on October 30. The two deputy PMs reached unanimity in facilitating the cultivation of industrial crops and rubber trees in Laos by joint venture of the two countries.
