HO CHI MINH CITY – On the afternoon of June 17, 2016, at Campus 59C Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Vietnam – Netherlands Programme (VNP), a business school in University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) held a press conference to announce the Vietnam – Netherlands Master’s double degree programme (VNP Double Degree).
The VNP Double Degree Programme has just been officially signed in May 2016 between UEH and the International Institute for Social Science Research (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam (the Netherlands), one of the top 40 universities in the world for Economics training (Erasmus University Rankings – QS).
VNP students now have the options to join the full-time programme in Vietnam, or the double degree programme which includes 6 months in The Netherlands after 1 year in Vietnam. Double degree participants will get one more master’s degree by ISS.
In the Double Degree Program, students will continue to study 4 subjects in a period of 6 months at ISS (Netherlands). In the next 6 months, students will return to Vietnam to conduct their graduation thesis under the scientific supervision of Vietnamese and Dutch lecturers.
The study program at ISS provides with knowledge about the global economy, economic development issues and advanced quantitative methods.
