The Lao government has agreed Vietnamese business group to set an Association of Vietnamese Cooperation and Investment Enterprise in Laos to provide favourable conditions for them. An agreement was made in a meeting held at the Lane Xang Hotel, Vientiane Capital, on 11 January with the participation of Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos, Ta Minh Chau, Deputy President of the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Sanan Chounlamany and other senior officials of the two countries. The association’s role is to gather and create unity among members, help develop and raise the effectiveness of investment and economic cooperation in Laos.
